Neonatal Perinatal Job Summary:
Unique opportunity for work/life balance just 22 miles from the sandy beaches of South Padre Island! Valley Regional Medical Center is assisting a well established neonatology group practice to recruit a new neonatologist to their team. Three neonatologists currently cover two Level III NICUs along with L/D and Newborn Nursery service. Call is from home, while experienced NNPs provide 24/7 in-house coverage. Both NICUs have highly engaged service lines, with a commitment to providing quality, compassionate care. Full time/Part time available. About thePractice:
Practice has served the South Texas/Brownsville market for 35 years. Physicians typically work from 7 am - 5 pm (shorter shifts when working weekends) 3 or 4 calls from home per week of service (3 calls one week, 4 calls the following week), the practice covers 2 weeks on / one week completely off, with call including both hospitals, with 24/7 NNP in house coverage at both facilities. The practice covers two Level 3 NICU's and their respective routine nurseries. Equal time is spent at both facilities (3 days at one, 4 days at the other) per week. Average deliveries combined is about 4,000 per year. Typical NICU census is 10 at Valley Regional, 12 atValley Baptist Benefits/Incentives:
