We are a one-location, physician-owned private practice that has been established for over 10 years and continues to experience strong growth due to high incoming referral volume and repeat patient follow-up needs. Our practice provides comprehensive vascular and venous care in an outpatient setting, with in-house diagnostic ultrasound and a high volume of office-based treatments. We currently have two full-time sonographers and are actively looking to add a third part-time to full-time sonographer due to increasing patient demand. Patient volume has exceeded our ability to maintain timely access expectations, and we are looking for an advanced practice provider to help expand patient care capacity. This position would begin part-time, with a minimum of 20 hours per week. Ideally, the schedule would consist of half-days Monday through Friday, although this may be negotiable for the right candidate. As patient volume and practice needs continue to grow, there may be an opportunity for this role to expand into a full-time position in the future. There is no call, no weekend clinic, and no hospital rounding expected for this position.

In-Office Treatments Include:
  • Radiofrequency ablation (RFA)
  • Varithena
  • Asclera
  • VeinGogh
  • Cosmetic sclerotherapy
Responsibilities May Include:
  • Evaluating new patients and follow-up patients
  • Obtaining and documenting patient histories
  • Performing physical examinations
  • Charting and maintaining accurate documentation in eClinicalWorks
  • Ordering and recommending appropriate in-house vascular ultrasound studies
  • Reviewing ultrasound results and assisting with treatment planning
  • Recommending in-office vein treatments when clinically appropriate
  • Identifying patients who may require hospital-based or cath lab procedures
  • Referring patients to outside specialists when appropriate
  • Prescribing medications when clinically indicated
  • Providing patient education regarding vascular disease, venous insufficiency, treatment options, compression therapy, and follow-up care
  • Supporting continuity of care and timely patient access
In-House Ultrasound Studies May Include:
  • Venous insufficiency studies
  • Right and left lower extremity venous studies
  • Bilateral lower extremity venous studies
  • Right and left upper extremity venous studies
  • Bilateral upper extremity venous studies
  • Carotid ultrasound
  • Aorta ultrasound
ABI / WBI
testing
  • Bilateral lower extremity arterial studies
  • Right and left lower extremity arterial studies
Preferred Experience:
Preference will be given to candidates with at least 1 year of experience in a similar role within vascular, cardiovascular, cardiology, interventional radiology, surgical, or related specialties. Vascular or vein experience is preferred, but training and physician support will be provided for the right candidate.
Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation is competitive and based on experience. Benefits may include health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, Aflac, and 401(k), negotiable based on schedule, employment status, and final position structure.
