Cleveland, Texas Overview Seeking a Locum Emergency Medicine Physician to provide high-quality emergency care in a community hospital ED. Position offers a varied case mix, collaborative staff, and an immediate clinical impact. Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute medical and traumatic conditions Perform emergency procedures within Emergency Medicine scope Stabilize critically ill and injured patients and coordinate transfer when needed Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostics Consult and collaborate with specialists and hospital staff to coordinate care Accurately document patient encounters in the electronic medical record Deliver evidence-based, timely care in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM) Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain licensure Current DEA registration or ability to obtain Current ACLS, ATLS, PALS, and BLS certifications (or ability to obtain)
