ASAP The Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) seeks Pediatric Anesthesiology faculty to join a growing academic program during an exciting period of expansion and transformation. This opportunity offers the chance to make a lasting impact on one of Texas' most ambitious pediatric growth initiatives while practicing within a highly collaborative department known for strong physician retention, faculty support, and academic excellence. UTMB is actively investing in the future of pediatric care, including expansion of pediatric surgical services and growth of pediatric operating capacity. Faculty joining the program today will have the opportunity to help shape the future direction of pediatric anesthesia throughout the institution. This academic faculty position spans a diverse clinical environment that includes pediatric surgical anesthesia, procedural anesthesia, complex perioperative care, and pediatric burn anesthesia through Shriners Children's Texas. The department's long-term vision includes continued expansion of pediatric services and progression toward an increasingly pediatric-focused practice model. - Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Completion of Pediatric Anesthesiology fellowship training
- Eligible for Texas medical licensure
