POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
It provides comprehensive healthcare to a population that has multiple health care needs in the Detention Health Care setting for University Health.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Must have completed training in an ACGME-approved and accredited residency program. Completion of a residency program from the time of graduation from medical school, in excess of the traditional time period for the practice specialty, must be fully explained in writing. All incumbents will be expected to be board certified in their specialty or be eligible for board certification. Must obtain board certification in accordance with Medical-Dental Staff bylaws.LICENSURE
Must possess a current license to practice medicine in the State of Texas. Must maintain current AHA BLS or higher in accordance with Medical-Dental Staff bylaws. Providers practicing in an acute care environment must obtainAHA ACLS
certification or advanced specialty equivalent as defined by the CMA Credentials Committee within 90 days of hire. Must maintain DEA and DPS numbers. Must follow rules/regulations as set forth by the Texas Medical Board Medical Practice Act.Similar jobs in Hondo, TX
