Type:
full-time This is a part-time, on-site Nephrologist role based in Texas City, TX. The Nephrologist will provide comprehensive care for patients with acute and chronic kidney diseases, including evaluation, diagnosis, and management in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing consultations, managing dialysis and hemodialysis patients, coordinating pre- and post-transplant care, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams such as primary care, surgery, and nursing. The role involves interpreting diagnostic tests, adjusting treatment plans, educating patients and families on disease management, and participating in quality improvement initiatives. The Nephrologist is expected to maintain accurate clinical documentation, follow hospital policies and clinical guidelines, and contribute to call coverage as needed.
