Principal AP/CP General Surgical Pathologist w/Hematopathology Sign-Out - Greater Dallas, TX Area AmeriPath is a leading national provider of anatomic pathology, molecular diagnostic and healthcare information services for the detection, diagnosis, evaluation and treatment of cancer and other medical conditions. AmeriPath North Texas based in Lewisville, TX is seeking a laboratory-based Principal AP/CP General Surgical Pathologist with board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Hematopathology to join their team of 19 pathologists. The pathologist will handle an interesting variety of cases including Hematopathology, Women's Health (GYN) including GYN Cytology, GU, Breast, Head and Neck (ENT) pathology, and a smaller volume of GI biopsies. MD or DO degree plus accredited pathology residency Must be board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology Must be board certified in hematopathology 5+ years post residency experience desired Must hold valid unrestricted license to practice medicine in TX or be eligible to obtain licensure Must hold active privileges in facility where any inpatient work is interpreted Strong customer focus and understanding of laboratory operations Ability to communicate with decision makers in the laboratory and Company Lewisville, TX is located in the heart of the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex.
