Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients seeking medical attention, providing comprehensive and continuous care across a wide range of health issues. Your expertise will help promote overall wellness, prevent illness, and manage chronic conditions through patient-centered approaches. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, accessible healthcare that improves patient outcomes and enhances community health. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations using advanced tools such as EMR/EHR systems and medical imaging. Develop personalized care plans that incorporate preventive care, health coaching, and management of acute and chronic illnesses across diverse age groups. Coordinate with specialists in fields such as cardiology, endocrinology, dermatology, pulmonology, neurology, and others to ensure comprehensive patient care. Utilize diagnostic radiology and laboratory results to inform clinical decisions while maintaining accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA standards. Provide patient education on health maintenance, medication management, lifestyle modifications, and disease prevention strategies. Manage urgent care cases efficiently by triaging patients and providing immediate treatment or referrals as needed. Engage in clinical research or quality improvement initiatives to enhance practice standards and patient outcomes. Experience Post-residency experience in primary care or family medicine is preferred. demonstrating proficiency in outpatient settings with inpatient experience preferred. Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques is essential for effective patient assessment. Proven ability to collaborate with healthcare professionals across multiple specialties such as anesthesiology, radiology, surgery, obstetrics/gynecology (Ob/Gyn), pediatrics, psychiatry, and emergency medicine. Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems and CPT coding for accurate documentation and billing processes. Familiarity with hospital protocols including ICU experience or Level I/II trauma center exposure is advantageous. Experience in managing complex cases involving pain medicine, wound care, immunizations, infection control, or post-operative care is highly valued. Strong commitment to patient service excellence combined with skills in medical records management and discharge planning.
