We invite a passionate and forward-thinking Psychiatrist to be part of our new Child and Adolescent team at our state-of-the-art clinic in Pasadena, Texas. Embrace a pioneering role that offers a unique blend of flexibility and engagement with the opportunity to work remotely 80% of the time and provide in-person care 20% of the time. This is your chance to impact community health profoundly, working in an inspiring and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Offer comprehensive psychiatric care to FQHC clients, enhancing their mental health and life quality. Conduct assessments and execute treatment for patients within assigned clinic spaces. Maintain consistent clinic hours according to the Service Agreement and actively engage with patients. Meet or exceed productivity standards set by the Chief Medical Officer and the Medical Director of Behavioral Health. Develop and sustain clinical diagnostic and treatment protocols for psychiatric services. Provide on-call support during regular clinic hours and as scheduled after hours. Assist in reviewing and developing educational materials for patients before dissemination. Supervise healthcare students during their educational assignments at the clinic. Establish and maintain a clinical quality assurance program. Collaborate in care coordination with non-physician providers including Licensed Therapists and Behavioral Health Coordinators. Consult with peers, specialists, and other healthcare professionals as necessary. Participate in required meetings and the Performance Improvement Program. Perform other duties as assigned to uphold the clinic's standards. Qualifications Must be a Medical Doctor, Board-certified (or Board-eligible and progressing towards certification) in Psychiatry. Adhere to the Code of Ethics of your professional licensing entity. Complete requisite continuing education hours to maintain professional licensing. Maintain good standing with the professional licensing board. Demonstrate cultural competency and sensitivity to all populations served. Exhibit effective communication skills with staff, the community, and the public. Capable of performing duties with or without reasonable accommodations. Maintain composure under stressful conditions. Successful completion of a criminal background check.
