The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high quality patient care across various settings, including inpatient and urgent care environments. This position requires a strong background in clinical practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments and physical exams Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses Develop and implement treatment plans Order and interpret diagnostic tests Prescribe medications in accordance with state and federal regulations Educate patients on disease prevention and health maintenance Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR (eClinicalWorks preferred) Collaborate closely with supervising physician and care team Qualifications Valid Physician Assistant license and certification from an accredited program. Strong clinical skills with experience in family planning, IV infusion, and urgent care settings preferred. Familiarity with neonatal ventilators and inpatient care protocols is a plus. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to best practices in patient care.
