Job Description
Position Overview Hillside Medical Group is seeking a Primary Care Physician (Internal Medicine) to join our established outpatient practice in Stone Oak, San Antonio. The physician will provide comprehensive primary care to adult patients, including preventive care, chronic disease management, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing patient care. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to adult patients. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions. Conduct physical examinations, preventive screenings, and health assessments. Develop individualized treatment plans. Manage conditions including diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, cardiovascular disease, and other common internal medicine conditions. Order and interpret appropriate laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic studies. Prescribe medications and provide patient education. Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare providers. Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and clinical staff. Maintain accurate and timely medical records. Participate in quality improvement and patient care initiatives.
