Hyperbaric & Wound Care Physician Opportunity -
San Antonio, Texas University Health Position Type:
Full-time, Employed (W2) University Health in San Antonio, Texas is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Physician with experience in wound care and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) . Physicians from backgrounds including Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Plastic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation are encouraged to apply if you have wound care expertise.
Position Highlights:
Provide comprehensive outpatient wound care and hyperbaric medicine services. Collaborate in a multidisciplinary Limb Salvage Clinic alongside vascular surgery, podiatry, infectious disease, and other specialists. Provide medical oversight for the Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBO) and Wound Care Program. Support hospital-acquired pressure injury prevention through rounding at a community hospital (opportunity available). Help expand and enhance University Health's growing wound care program. Participate in a shared call schedule for emergency HBO services. Practice at one of the few health systems in Texas offering a 24/7 emergency Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy program. Preferred Qualifications:
