Med Hospitalist Job Responsibilities:

The Hospitalist will provide direct hands-on care to patients within the limits of credentials granted by the Medical Staff of Inova in recognition of advanced training and experience in this field Additionally, they will adhere to patient care and admission criteria policies and procedures of the Department of Medicine.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education :

Doctor of Medicine degree or Doctor of Osteopathic degree from an accredited institution, Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Experience:

Successful completion of an

ACGME Physician Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Residency Program Licensure:

Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the

State of Virginia and Virginia DEA Payor Credentialing:

Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third-party payors and Ability to enrolled as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor

Medical Staff Credentialing :

Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services

Preferred Qualifications:

One year experience in hospital medicine Successful completion of an

ACGME Physician Internal Medicine Residency Program Facilities:
