(Physician/MD qualifications required) Psychiatry (Child and Adolescent) - MDstaffers is seeking a qualified Child Psychiatrist in the Ashburn, VA area. For more information, please apply or call (866) 90-STAFF. Job Description Child Psychiatrist needed in the DC Metro area. Join a team whose goal is to offer a compassionate, supportive, and nurturing environment to their patients. The primary focus of the Child Psychiatrist is to provide mental health services to a full spectrum of adolescent patients in a safe space. The Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area hosts a plethora of events, eateries, outdoor activities, and nearby adventures. You will never hear anyone say that they can't find something fun to do in the areas surrounding the nation's capital.
Details:
  • Permanent, full-time position
  • Undertake assessment, evaluation, and diagnosis of child, adult, and adolescent patients
  • Develop and monitor treatment plans
  • Prescribe and manage medication and maintain pharmacology standards IAW treatment plans
  • Undertake psychotherapy IAW treatment plans
  • Maintains timely and accurate case|progress notes
  • Provide advice and guidance to responsible parties in the case of children
  • Maintains compliance for federal and state guidelines
  • Focus on child psychiatry but may include adults as patient volume dictates
  • Provide on-site presence and maintain professional representation of the practice
