The primary focus of the Child Psychiatrist is to provide mental health services to a full spectrum of adolescent patients in a safe space. The Washington D.C. Details:

• Permanent, full-time position
• Undertake assessment, evaluation, and diagnosis of child, adult, and adolescent patients
• Develop and monitor treatment plans
• Prescribe and manage medication and maintain pharmacology standards IAW treatment plans
• Undertake psychotherapy IAW treatment plans
• Maintains timely and accurate case|progress notes
• Provide advice and guidance to responsible parties in the case of children
• Maintains compliance for federal and state guidelines
• Focus on child psychiatry but may include adults as patient volume dictates
• Provide on-site presence and maintain professional representation of the practice
