Endocrinology MD/DO Opportunity at Bon Secours Diabetes and Endocrinology, Chester Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Endocrinologist to join our established Bon Secours Diabetes & Endocrinology practice in Chester, Virginia, just minutes south of Richmond. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a collaborative, physician-led team with strong administrative support and an established referral network. Position Highlights Full-time, outpatient practice Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Average of 20 patients per day Robust referral base with new patient lead times of approximately 6-8 months Level 1 clinic call shared among three physicians Telemedicine available through Epic MyChart Dedicated 1:1 CMA or LPN support Infrastructure available to support fine needle aspiration (FNA) biopsy New graduates are encouraged to apply Practice Environment Join a highly collaborative endocrinology team consisting of: 6 Physicians 4 Advanced Practice Providers You'll work alongside experienced endocrinologists in a welcoming, inclusive culture with mentorship available from senior physicians. Opportunities are available to participate in quality improvement initiatives, committee work, and student precepting. Responsibilities Diagnose and manage a wide range of endocrine and metabolic disorders Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans Order and interpret diagnostic testing and laboratory studies Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with Virginia regulations Educate patients and families regarding endocrine conditions and treatment plans Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nursing, and administrative staff to provide exceptional patient care Respond to patient calls and MyChart messages Coordinate referrals and specialty care when appropriate Participate in shared clinic call responsibilities Support ongoing quality improvement and operational initiatives Qualifications MD or DO Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology Eligible for Virginia medical licensure BLS or ACLS certification New graduates and experienced physicians are welcome to apply.
