This is a contract, on-site position offering an excellent opportunity for an Associate-level physician to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic clinical environment. As a Locum MD/DO, you will deliver comprehensive medical services, including patient assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care management. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients within the medical practice setting. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary and acute care to patients Conduct thorough patient assessments, histories, and physical examinations Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions Order, interpret, and review diagnostic tests and laboratory results Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments Develop and implement patient care plans Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals Refer patients to specialists when necessary for further evaluation Educate patients on preventive care and health management Ensure compliance with medical regulations and practice standards Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the practice Requirements Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Valid medical license to practice Board certification or eligibility in relevant specialty Associate-level experience in a clinical or medical practice setting Strong clinical diagnostic and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment Current BLS or ACLS certification
Schedule:
Monday-Friday Shifts:
8, 10, or 12-hour shifts Weekend and weekday beeper call shifts, 1:4 rotation
Patient Population:
Adults required, pediatrics preferred
Cases:
General, epidural, spinal, regional, obstetrical, neurosurgical, complex vascular, complex ortho, vent management, and central lines 8
ORs Care Team Model:
4 MDs & 11 CRNAs Will supervise 3 CRNAs Anesthesia techs turn over
ORs EMR:
Epic Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses
