Physician - Hematologist/Oncologist
Job Description
We are seeking a diligent Hematologist/Oncologist Physician for a 96-day assignment in Virginia, starting Sep 28, 2026. This role involves managing current treatment plans for adult patients, primarily focusing on hematology cases and minor medical oncology cases, with a Monday through Thursday schedule from 8 am to 4:30 pm. Responsibilities and Duties Manage current treatment plans for adult patients. Address mainly Hematology cases. Handle minor medical oncology cases. Additional Information Board Certification in Hematology is required. EMR used is Athenahealth. Expect to see 13-15 patients per day. Telephone-only call coverage is required every other week, manageable remotely without needing to return to the hospital. Primarily an outpatient setting.
