A growing pulmonary and critical care service in Southwest Virginia is seeking a BC/BE Pulmonologist/Critical Care Physician. This full-time employed opportunity combines outpatient pulmonary medicine, ICU critical care consultation, and the opportunity to participate in one of the nation's busiest Black Lung clinics.
No prior Black Lung experience required; on-the-job training provided
Outpatient pulmonary and critical care responsibilities
Access to new ION Bronchoscopy technology

Practice Highlights
Join a growing pulmonary and critical care service
Average 20 outpatient clinic patients per day
Average 5-6 Black Lung patients per day
Participate in a high-volume Black Lung program with specialized training provided
Provide consultations for ICU critical care patients
New ION Bronchoscopy equipment
Strong clinical and support staff
Opportunity to work with and teach Internal Medicine residents
Potential research opportunities and future program growth
Service area of approximately 75,000-100,000 residents
129-bed community hospital setting
Procedures & Skills

Critical Care experience preferred
EBUS experience is a plus

MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Disease/Critical Care
