Chief Purpose of thisPosition:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our dynamic Emergency Medicine team as a full time Emergency Medicine physician at the VCU Health Community Memorial Hospital campus, which treats 26,000+ patients per year, and plans for Level 3 Trauma designation in the near future. The successful candidate will contribute to our mission of providing exceptional patient care in the rural community setting with opportunities to engage in innovative research and high-quality education in Emergency Medicine.Position Responsibilities:
Clinical- Provide excellent clinical care by demonstrating proficiency in the evaluation, diagnosis and management of a wide range of acute medical and traumatic conditions. Provide efficient, high quality patient care that reflects current professional practice norms and skills and is consistent with accepted utilization guidelines. Education/Research
