Job Description

Join a hospital-based OB/GYN team focused on consistent, expert care for every pregnant patient. Work collaboratively with local obstetricians, maintain strong work/life balance, and contribute to quality improvement in maternal and newborn care. Locations Chesapeake, Mechanicsville, Petersburg, and Richmond, VA.
Compensation & Schedule Salary:
$300,000-$340,000 annually plus full benefits. Full-time hospitalist role; typically 7-9 24-hour shifts per month (about 21 days off monthly). No on-call responsibilities or office management. Flexible scheduling with potential for bonuses. Core Responsibilities Provide comprehensive inpatient OB/GYN care. Manage obstetric emergencies and stabilize high-risk patients. Coordinate care with labor and delivery teams and consulting providers. Participate in quality improvement, education, and peer review activities. Requirements Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Virginia medical license or ability to obtain one. Proven ability to manage obstetric emergencies.
