NOVA Pulmonary Critical Care & Sleep Associates Northern Virginia Outpatient Only | No Call | No Evenings or Weekends Job Summary NOVA Pulmonary Critical Care & Sleep Associates is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Sleep Medicine Physician to join our growing, pulmonary and sleep medicine practice in Northern Virginia. This position offers an excellent work-life balance, strong existing patient demand, an established referral network, and experienced clinical and administrative support. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available. Experienced physicians and fellows completing their sleep medicine training are encouraged to apply. Position Highlights Outpatient-only sleep medicine practice Full-time or part-time options Flexible weekday schedule No call, evenings, weekends, or hospital responsibilities Strong existing patient demand Established referral network Dedicated time for sleep-study interpretation Experienced clinical and administrative support Competitive guaranteed base compensation Productivity-based bonus opportunity Sign-on bonus Employer-paid malpractice insurance, including tail coverage Paid time off and CME support Meaningful input within a physician-owned practice Responsibilities Evaluate and manage adults with obstructive and central sleep apnea Diagnose and treat insomnia, narcolepsy, hypersomnia, restless legs syndrome, parasomnias, and circadian rhythm disorders Manage CPAP and BiPAP therapy Interpret home sleep apnea tests and other sleep studies based on qualifications Develop individualized treatment plans Educate patients regarding sleep disorders, treatment options, and sleep hygiene Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical support staff Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Athenahealth Communicate with referring physicians and other members of the patient's care team Qualifications M.D. or D.O. degree Completion of an accredited residency program Completion of, or current enrollment in, an accredited Sleep Medicine fellowship Board-certified or board-eligible in Sleep Medicine Eligible for an unrestricted Virginia medical license Eligible for credentialing with major insurance plans Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills Commitment to patient-centered care Practice Locations NOVA Pulmonary has offices in: Vienna/Tysons Lansdowne/Leesburg Stone Springs/South Riding The physician may work primarily at one location or across multiple offices based on mutual preference and practice needs.
