In this role, you will provide comprehensive primary care services, focusing on preventive care, diagnosis, treatment, and coordination of care. You will work collaboratively with a supportive clinical team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered outcomes and help build lasting patient relationships in the community. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients across a range of health needs Obtain detailed patient histories and perform thorough physical examinations Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions commonly managed in primary care Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and their families Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures as needed Prescribe medications and therapies according to clinical best practices Provide preventive care services, including health screenings, immunizations, and wellness counseling Educate patients on lifestyle modifications, disease prevention, and chronic disease management Coordinate care with specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential electronic health records Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs Stay current with developments in primary care medicine and relevant clinical guidelines Requirements Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine(DO) degree from an accredited medical school Completion of an accredited residency program in a primary care specialty Board certification or board eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related primary care field Active, unrestricted medical license in the applicable state Associate-level clinical experience in a primary care setting Strong clinical knowledge in prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of common medical conditions Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient counseling skills Compassionate, patient-centered approach to healthcare delivery Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Proficiency with electronic health records(EHR) systems and standard medical documentation practices Commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and high-quality patient care
Schedule:
5x 8-hour shifts or 4x 10-hour shifts 3-4 weeks of beeper call coverage per yearDaily Volume:
