Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic growing healthcare team as a Primary Care Physician or Physician Assistant, where your expertise will directly impact patient health and well-being. We are a small private practice in a rural community seeking to add a full-time physician. There is already a panel in place, awaiting a physician to assume care. Board certification, MD/DO or PA-C degree, Washington state license, DEA registration all required. Salary DOE and degree, initially guaranteed, then moving to base plus production. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews, to diagnose and manage a wide range of health conditions. Develop personalized care plans that incorporate preventive measures, chronic disease management, and health education tailored to individual patient needs. Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to document clinical encounters accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. We use Athena EMR, scribe optional. Collaborate closely with specialists across fields such as cardiology, endocrinology, dermatology, pulmonology, and others to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Perform routine procedures, with the ability to tailor your skills as desired. Provide patient education on lifestyle modifications, medication adherence, and health coaching to empower patients in managing their health proactively. Participate in quality metrics Skills Extensive knowledge of primary care practices combined with proficiency in medical terminology and physiology. Experience with EMR/EHR systems Strong diagnostic skills across multiple specialties including internal medicine, family medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, and urgent care settings. Excellent communication skills for collaborating effectively with healthcare professionals across disciplines like anesthesiology, radiology, pathology, and surgery. Demonstrated commitment to patient service excellence through compassionate care delivery and attention to detail in clinical evaluations.
