Job Description

Our client in Washington is seeking a skilled OB/GYN Physician for a 7-day assignment, commencing Dec 22, 2026. This critical role involves 24-hour shifts, providing essential care from emergency department coverage to managing both routine and complex deliveries. The selected physician will handle a diverse range of cases, including laboring patients, C-sections, vaginal deliveries, and emergency gynecological surgeries. Responsibilities and Duties Be on call for the Emergency Department, managing deliveries and emergency gynecological cases. Evaluate patients in the ED and admit them to the OB unit or medical surgical floor. Admit and manage laboring patients. Perform surgical emergencies in the operating room. Coordinate follow-up plans and serve as a specialty consultant for family medicine physicians and certified nurse midwives. Perform C-sections, emergency gynecological surgeries, and vaginal deliveries. Additional Information Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required.
