Job Description

Alumni Healthcare Staffing seeks a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Urologist for a locum tenens assignment in Washington. Provide inpatient and outpatient urologic care, including consults, clinic visits, and surgical procedures. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating urologic conditions, interpreting imaging and lab results, performing OR cases, and participating in call coverage as needed. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, ensure accurate documentation, and deliver high-quality, evidence-based care. Responsibilities Provide inpatient and outpatient urologic consultations and follow-up care Diagnose and treat a wide range of urologic conditions and disorders Perform urologic surgical procedures in the operating room Interpret imaging, laboratory studies, and other diagnostic tests Document encounters, procedures, and treatment plans accurately and timely Participate in call coverage and manage urgent urologic issues Collaborate with hospital staff, specialists, and primary care teams Apply evidence-based guidelines to develop treatment plans Communicate clearly with patients and families about diagnoses and options Adhere to hospital policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements Required Skills Urologic surgery Outpatient urology clinic management Inpatient consults and rounding Cystoscopy and endoscopic procedures Interpretation of imaging and lab results Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation Perioperative patient management On-call and acute urologic care Patient counseling and communication Evidence-based clinical decision-making
