Our client in Washington is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist Physician for a 30-day assignment starting Nov 24, 2026. This role involves 24-hour call shifts, covering deliveries, c-sections, and pediatric consults. The physician will also round in the newborn nursery and perform routine inpatient procedures such as intubations and A-lines. Responsibilities and Duties Provide 24-hour pediatric hospitalist coverage, including on-call for deliveries, c-sections, and pediatric consults. Round daily in the newborn nursery, typically seeing 2-3 newborns on average for approximately 2 hours. Attend C-sections and deliveries as required. Manage and ship out any complex or high-risk cases. Cover ER call for rare pediatric admissions, averaging 4-7 per month, and run NRP codes. Perform routine inpatient procedures including intubations and A-lines. Maintain a low callback volume.
