•Full-Time | Renton, WA Valley Medical Center & Clinics (VMCC) is actively recruiting a full-time (1.0 FTE) Internal Medicine Physician-Hospitalist to join our established, collaborative, and collegial team of providers. Our approach to patient-centered care is team-based. You will provide inpatient clinical services for patients who are admitted to the hospital through the emergency department or by another physician who requests hospitalist services, as well as consultative services for other specialties in the hospital. You'll also help support the primary code captain (residents) during Code Blues. We have an open ICU model, and you'll work collaboratively with the intensivists who will serve in a consulting role. You will also respond to Rapid Response Team and Code Blue activation on all hospitalist patients, at the attending hospitalist's request, when serving in the rotating Triage role.

About the position:

12-hour shifts (7am-7pm), 7 on-7 off for a total of 168 shifts/ year Primary hospitalist responsible for rounding on and discharging assigned patients, with occasional admissions as needed Team of 41 hospitalists: 26 rounders, 6 admitters, 8 nocturnists, and 1 APP 12 rounding hospitalists on service each day; 3 admitters; 3 nocturnists at night

Compensation :

$380,000 annually ($2261.90 per 12-hour shift) + up to $10,000 incentives + opportunities for extra shifts
