We are looking for a Physician (MD or DO) to join our clinics! This is a clinical position requiring a degree of Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy. This work involves both outpatient and inpatient medical care for the members of Community Health Care. This position requires a board certified primary care physician. Primary functions are those of general primary care including preventive services, health maintenance, and inpatient hospital care within the scope of the respective specialty. It is the desire of Community Health Care to provide continuous and comprehensive medical care to all low income patients. Therefore, clinics are organized around a family practice model and include care for pregnant as well as geriatric patients.
Essential Functions:
Provide full scope of preventive and ambulatory medical services within the scope of specialty. Develop and participate in community, staff, and patient education. Meet minimum clinic hours and productivity expectations outlined in employment agreement. Assist in developing quality assurance programs for the agency and respective clinics. Supervise on various Community Health Care committees. Participate in quality improvement, risk management and peer review projects as assignedMinimum Qualifications:
