Job Description

Part-time Medical Director/Attending Physician — Altoona, WI Overview Provide clinical leadership and deliver patient-centered medical care across local skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. Work collaboratively with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to manage post-acute and long-term care patients. Key Responsibilities Serve as attending physician for assigned skilled nursing facilities Oversee clinical care provided by APPs and staff; provide medical oversight and direction Conduct 18-25 patient visits per day across facilities Document care using company-provided iPad with LTE Participate in performance improvement and quality initiatives as needed Schedule Part-time; physicians typically cover each facility 1-2 days per week No fixed start/end times, no overnight shifts, no on-call responsibilities Flexible scheduling to support work-life balance Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation with performance-based bonus opportunities Up to $50,000 long-term retention incentive Paid time off 401(k) with employer match Medical, dental, vision insurance for eligible physicians Employer-paid life insurance Short- and long-term disability for eligible physicians CME allowance and licensure reimbursement Company-provided iPad with LTE and professional lab coat Qualifications MD or DO with unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligibility for licensure Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and leadership skills Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care New graduates who are board-eligible and actively pursuing licensure encouraged to apply
