The Family Medicine Physician with OB provides care in a comprehensive family practice to patients spanning all age groups, from newborn to geriatric. We are seeking a motivated Family Medicine Physician with an enthusiastic interest in Obstetrics to become a valued member of our collaborative medical practice. This position is based out of the La Farge and Soldiers Grove Medical Clinics. La Farge Clinic is also home to the Center for Special Children, an essential service offered by only six clinics in the country, utilizing genetic testing to identify and treat rare conditions. While genetic research benefits the entire population, most of the afflicted children come from regional Amish and Mennonite communities. Scientific study has made the La Farge Medical Clinic's Center for Special Children program an outstanding medical resource, but the significant personal relationships developed between the Vernon family medicine team and the Plain community cannot be underestimated when looking at what has been accomplished since the program began in 2015.
