Job Description
- Psychiatry (Child or Adult)
Location:
Manitowoc, Wisconsin- Provide comprehensive outpatient psychiatric care for either child/adolescent or adult patients, depending on training and specialty.
- Join a well-established, multidisciplinary behavioral health team committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered mental health services.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of psychiatric conditions through comprehensive psychiatric assessments and ongoing medication management.
- Collaborate closely with a team consisting of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and experienced psychotherapists to provide integrated behavioral healthcare.
- Behavioral health services include outpatient mental health care, psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse (AODA) treatment services.
- Maintain an average patient volume of approximately 18 patients per day in a structured outpatient clinic setting.
- Enjoy a Monday through Friday schedule (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) with no routine weekend clinic responsibilities, supporting an excellent work-life balance.
- Participate in a shared phone-only call schedule, averaging 2-3 days per month.
- Practice within a collaborative, supportive healthcare system that emphasizes evidence-based treatment, multidisciplinary teamwork, and continuity of care.
- Utilize a patient-centered approach to develop individualized treatment plans that promote long-term mental wellness and recovery.
