Participate in the assessment and identification of patients referred to Interventional Radiology Services. Assists in the preparation of patients for Interventional Procedures, including maintaining up-to-date knowledge of peri-procedural care. Become proficient and maintain proficiency in basic image-guided procedures, including biopsies, fluoroscopic-guided lumbar puncture, myelogram, arthrogram, port studies, tube checks, and ultrasound-guided paracentesis, thoracentesis, and thyroid FNA. Collaborate with supervising Radiologists in the development of a differential diagnosis of the presenting problem. Participate in devising and implementing a management plan. In this role, we require that you're: Graduate of an accredited practitioner school. Certified by an appropriate certifying body and approved by the Wisconsin Board of Medicine. Adept at advanced physical assessments.

ACLS/BLS

certified. Able to acquire and maintain knowledge of both oral and IV anticoagulation therapies with safety in interventional procedures.
