Category Imaging - Interventional Radiology Job Type Contract Seeking a skilled professional experienced in Imaging - Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab Tech, and IR Tech specialties to deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract position offers an excellent opportunity to work alongside top healthcare professionals and expand your experience in advanced imaging procedures.
Key Qualifications:
ARRT certification in Radiography (RT(R)), with additional Interventional Radiology (IR) or Cardiac-Interventional (CI) preferred Valid state licensure as required Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in an interventional radiology or cath lab setting Proficiency with imaging equipment and sterile technique
ACLS/BLS
certification (current) Strong communication and critical-thinking skills Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional radiology/cardiac catheterization procedures Operate imaging equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and adherence to radiation safety protocols Prepare patients for procedures, providing clear instructions and emotional support Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, supplies, and patient data Ensure equipment and workspaces are cleaned, maintained, and ready for use Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes Respond promptly to emergencies or complications during procedures
