Job Description

Join a growing academic healthcare team in Martinsburg, West Virginia to provide comprehensive nephrology services and participate in teaching and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows. Highlights Full-time faculty position in an established nephrology practice Strong multidisciplinary support and collaborative academic environment Opportunity to teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits Responsibilities Provide inpatient and outpatient nephrology care Diagnose and manage acute and chronic kidney disease, hypertension, electrolyte disorders, and other renal conditions Manage dialysis patients and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams Collaborate with primary care physicians and specialists to ensure patient-centered care Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record Participate in clinical education and teaching activities for trainees Engage in quality improvement and academic initiatives as appropriate Qualifications MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent) Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency and Nephrology fellowship Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nephrology Eligible for an unrestricted West Virginia medical license Commitment to clinical excellence, education, and collaborative care
