Job Description

  • Facility Overview:
  • The position is based at a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital located in Douglas, Wyoming, which accommodates approximately 5,500 emergency department visits annually and facilitates around 250 deliveries each year.
The hospital supports multiple specialties, including OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Orthopedic Spine Surgery, Gastroentero logy, Neurosurgery, Otolaryngology, Podiatry, Ophthalmology, Pain Management, Bariatric Surgery, and General Surgery. The average daily census (ADC) is approximately 10 patients, and the facility operates at a Trauma Level III classification.
  • Candidate Requirements:
  • Licensing:
  • An active Wyoming State Medical License or participation in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) is required. -
  • Board Certification:
  • Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible. Board Certification should be achieved within five years post-residency. -
  • Experience:
  • No minimum years of experience are mandated.
