Full Job Description Job Description:
We're seeking a skilled Podiatrist to join our healthcare team at Bellagio Foot & Ankle. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive foot and ankle care to patients, diagnosing and treating various foot conditions.Duties:
- Conduct foot examinations and assessments
- Diagnose and treat foot disorders, injuries, and diseases
- Perform surgical procedures on the foot and ankle
- Prescribe medications and orthotic devices
- Educate patients on foot health and preventative care
- Maintain accurate patient records
Experience:
The successful candidate should possess the following skills:- Ability to catheterize when necessary
- Experience in radiation therapy for foot conditions
- Proficiency in administering injections for pain relief
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, particularly related to the foot and ankle
- Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records system
- Knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) used in podiatry
- Skill in dermabrasion techniques for foot conditions
- Proficient in medical terminology related to podiatry
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
