Flexible About the Opportunity Laguna Woods Podiatry is seeking a licensed California podiatrist to provide mobile podiatric care to patients throughout Orange County and surrounding Southern California communities. This position is ideal for a podiatrist looking for a flexible schedule, supplemental income, or an opportunity to build a mobile practice while helping patients who have difficulty accessing traditional office-based care. Care may be provided in patients' homes, assisted living communities, skilled nursing facilities, and other residential care settings. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive podiatric evaluations and treatment in mobile and community-based settings. Diagnose and manage common foot and ankle conditions. Perform diabetic foot examinations, preventive foot care, and treatment of high-risk patients. Provide nail care, treatment of fungal toenails, callus reduction, and other routine podiatric services. Assess and treat foot wounds and perform debridement when clinically appropriate. Develop treatment plans and educate patients, families, and caregivers. Coordinate care with primary care physicians, home health teams, and facility staff. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with applicable privacy and healthcare requirements. Travel to scheduled patient appointments within the assigned service area. Qualifications Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from an accredited institution. Active, unrestricted California podiatric medical license. Strong clinical skills in general podiatry, diabetic foot care, geriatric care, or wound management. Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with patients and caregivers. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Familiarity with electronic medical records. Experience with mobile podiatry, home visits, assisted living, skilled nursing, or wound care preferred. Board certification or board eligibility preferred.
