This is an opportunity to join a growing multidisciplinary practice specializing in venous disease, chronic wounds, diabetic foot care, and limb preservation. The podiatrist will work in a collaborative outpatient setting with access to in-house vascular ultrasound, advanced wound care services, compression therapy, biologic dressings, and minimally invasive vascular treatment. We are looking for a podiatrist who enjoys caring for diabetic and medically complex patients and is interested in helping develop a comprehensive diabetic foot practice. Schedule Initially one half-day clinic per week Flexible scheduling Opportunity to expand to additional half-days or full clinic days as patient volume grows Responsibilities Evaluate and manage diabetic foot conditions Perform comprehensive diabetic foot examinations Provide medically necessary nail and callus care Diagnose and treat diabetic foot ulcers, pressure wounds, infections, and other foot conditions Perform office-based podiatric procedures, including nail avulsions, ingrown toenail treatment, callus debridement, wound debridement, and other minor procedures Recommend and manage offloading, diabetic footwear, and preventive foot-care strategies Identify patients who may require vascular evaluation or advanced wound care Collaborate closely with vein, vascular, and wound-care providers to support limb preservation Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation Help develop referral relationships and grow the diabetic foot service line Qualifications Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree Active and unrestricted California podiatric medical license DEA registration or eligibility, if needed for the scope of practice Strong interest in diabetic foot care, wound care, and limb preservation Comfortable performing common office-based podiatric procedures Excellent communication, professionalism, and documentation skills Korean language proficiency is strongly preferred because we serve a large Korean-speaking patient population Spanish language proficiency is also highly valued because we care for many Spanish-speaking patients Compensation Guaranteed compensation of approximately $300-$400 per half-day session, depending on experience and responsibilities Additional productivity-based bonus Opportunity for increased compensation and additional clinic sessions as the program grows Why Join Us Established vein and wound-care patient population Built-in referral opportunities for diabetic foot care In-house vascular ultrasound and multidisciplinary support Experienced clinical and administrative staff Physician-led, independently owned practice Opportunity to help build a comprehensive diabetic foot and limb-preservation program in the heart of Los Angeles We are seeking someone who wants more than a routine part-time position and is interested in helping create a high-quality, culturally responsive diabetic foot program serving the Korean, Spanish-speaking, and broader Los Angeles communities.
