at St. Luke's Health System in Meridian, Idaho, United States Job Description Make a Difference Where it Matters Most. Be a part of an award winning, physician-led and locally owned health system as a BC/BE Podiatrist. St. Luke's has a state-of-the-art Center for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Boise, Idaho. Other clinical locations include Meridian, ID and Nampa, ID. Our Orthopedic group includes 45 physicians and 29 Advanced Practice Providers within subspecialty service lines that include Adult Reconstruction, Sports Medicine, Pediatric Orthopedics, Foot & Ankle, Hand Surgery, and Orthopedic Surgeons.
What You Can Expect:
Provide patient care 4 days per week, including: outpatient clinic and surgical practice responsibilities and dedicated surgical block time for procedural cases Join a dedicated team of 2 Foot & Ankle Orthopedic Surgeons & 2 Podiatrists Maintain a balanced schedule designed to support a healthy work-life balance Participate in a shared call rotation with Foot & Ankle providers: One week at a time on a rotating basis Manage post-operative Foot & Ankle surgical patient calls during the global period Provide occasional emergency department and inpatient consultation coverage Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary partners, including Orthopedic subspecialists, Vascular Surgery, Primary Care providers, and dedicated St. Luke's Would Care team Preferred clinical interests include: Diabetic limb salvage Forefoot surgery Midfoot surgery General podiatric care
Note:
This opportunity is not seeking providers whose primary focus is ankle/hindfoot trauma or ankle reconstruction
Qualifications:
DPM from an accredited podiatry medical school Board-certified or board-eligible Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of Idaho Current licenses with full prescriptive authority from the Federal Drug Enforcement Agency and the State of Idaho, Board of Pharmacy Eligibility to obtain Medical Staff Privileges with St.
