PODIATRIST
Job description / Duties? Surgical trained podiatrist is a must. Will consider both forefoot and rearfoot trained Fellowship trained would be considered and paid at higher rate according to training / experience Perform duties of a podiatrist as typical in a clinical setting Must be able to obtain surgical privileges at local hospital Participate as a sub-investigator in clinical trials Reason for opening?(adding or replacing)? Growth of practice and clinical trial business, increased patient demand Joining other providers? If so, how many? Currently one other podiatrist in the practice Days/hours/shifts/weekends/Call? Generally Monday
  • Friday (hours flexible depending upon clinic and research schedule) Shared coverage for patients of practice (rarely ever an issue that can't be deferred until the next business day) Hospital call
  • not required currently but potentially could be in the future Comp Range? 1st year salary of 160K
  • $200K Salary depending upon training and experience 2nd year production based upon 35% of collections under 1 million and 37% over 1 million Any Bonus structure? 1st year
  • bonus eligible after production exceeds 3.25% of salary (33% of production over 3.25% of salary) 2nd year
  • compensation is 100% production based in the clinic so no bonus Clinical Trials (during 1st year and every year following)
  • additional compensation for any work performed associated with a patient participating in a clinical trial is considered additional income above and beyond the salary or production associated with work in the clinic. Pay rate for these visits depends on the particular study with potential additional annual income ranging from $25k
  • $100K or more.
Clinical trials are highly variable so there is no guarantee. EMR? eClinicalWorks Patients per day? norm is 25-30 patients per day Full time / benefited? Prefer full time but would also consider part time for the right candidate Benefits available for full time (health insurance, 401K, PTO, etc)
