Job Description

Podiatrist Westfield NY (1 hr S of Buffalo) We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic Podiatrist to join our outpatient private practice full-time in Westfield NY area. We are looking for a compassionate Podiatrist, who enjoys helping others, is a great communicator, and a team player! Preferably we are seeking a surgically trained Podiatrist that is Board Qualified or Board Certified or will be able to become Board Qualified within 2 years of employment. The surgical Podiatrist must be Board Certified within 5 years after Board Qualification to maintain hospital privileges. We will also consider a nonsurgical podiatrist.
Duties:
Provide podiatry services which include diagnosis and treatment of all medical conditions affecting the foot and ankle. This includes orthopedic conditions such as tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, bunions and hammertoes, Charcot, dermatologic conditions including wounds, tinea pedis, debridement of fungal toenails, dermatitis, ingrown toenails, Diabetic Foot Care, and evaluation of neuropathy Wound care. Nonsurgical candidates will refer any conditions requiring surgery to the other podiatrists in the practice Order and review appropriate tests- Evaluate clinical data Diagnosis and Treatment plan formulation Perform treatments Patient education on diagnosis, treatment plan options and expectations, patient goals, and post care treatments Documentation- accurate and timely Collaboration with the team for comprehensive care
Requirements:
Surgical Podiatrist Board Qualified or Board Certified or able to become Board Qualified within 2 years of employment or Nonsurgical Podiatrist License to practice in
