Job Description

Podiatric Assistant/Limited Xray tech/clerical-on the job training. Good computer skills a must, as all medical records are maintained electronically on an EHR system. Good communication skills a must . We are very fast paced and expect teamwork. We also work with a limited staff and good attendance is a must. 90 day trial period. Room patients, removing shoes/socks/positioning in chair. Providing assistance to the physician including setting up for surgical procedures, assisting in some procedures, cleaning the room thoroughly and sterilizing instruments. Fitting patients with cast boots, etc. Performing Xrays. You are required to become certified and SWP will assist with this. Answering phone and scheduling patient appointments. At times, you may be required to obtain authorizations, etc. for procedures. Health, dental and vision insurance effective on hire date.
