Job Description

Job Summary Specialize in the medical and surgical management of disorders affecting the nasal cavity, sinuses, and the anterior skull base. Responsibilities Evaluate and manage patients with a wide range of nasal and sinus disorders, including chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps, nasal obstruction, and disorders Provide medical and surgical interventions for rhinologic conditions, including functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS), septoplasty, turbinate reduction, and nasal reconstruction and surgery for anterior skull base disorders. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including allergists, pulmonologists, radiologists, and neurosurgeons, to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for patients. Stay abreast of advancements in rhinologic medicine and incorporate evidence-based practices into clinical care. Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical protocols and best practices related to rhinology within the department and institution. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Education MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Credentials Medical degree from an accredited institution Residency training in Otolaryngology (ENT) Fellowship training in Rhinology Board certification or eligibility in Otolaryngology Eligibility for medical licensure in West Virginia Demonstrated expertise in the medical and surgical management of rhinologic and anterior skull base disorders Strong interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to patient-centered care, teamwork, and continuous professional development
