Full-Time Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Podiatrist to join a growing multidisciplinary medical practice in Woodbridge and Fredericksburg, VA. The provider will deliver comprehensive podiatric care focused on diagnosing and treating foot, ankle, and lower extremity conditions in an outpatient clinical setting. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including physical therapy, occupational therapy, pain management, and other healthcare providers to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical and surgical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to improving patient mobility, function, and quality of life. Responsibilities Diagnose and treat a wide range of foot, ankle, and lower extremity conditions, including: Sports injuries Diabetic foot care Wound care Biomechanical disorders Musculoskeletal conditions Perform in-office procedures and minor surgical treatments as appropriate Perform forefoot and rearfoot surgical procedures Develop individualized treatment plans focused on improving mobility and reducing pain Educate patients on treatment options, preventive care, orthotics, and rehabilitation plans Collaborate with physical therapists, pain management providers, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and treatment planning Participate in shared call coverage rotation Support practice growth through high-quality patient care and community engagement Qualifications Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited School of Podiatric Medicine Active Virginia podiatry license Board qualified or board certified preferred Strong clinical and surgical skills Ability to perform forefoot and rearfoot surgery required Excellent bedside manner and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment Outpatient podiatric care experience preferred New graduates are welcome to apply; 1+ year of experience preferred Practice Details Full-time outpatient clinical position Provider will work between: Woodbridge, VA Fredericksburg, VA Exact location schedule will be determined based on practice needs Patient Volume Expected caseload: Approximately 30-40 patients per day Call Requirements Shared call rotation with other podiatrists No additional shift differential for call, weekends, or nights Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Malpractice insurance Paid time off (PTO) CME allowance Retirement plan with employer match Licensing and credentialing support Relocation assistance/sign-on bonus available on a case-by-case basis Start Date Immediate availability preferred
