    • 3 •Job Overview•We are seeking dedicated School Psychologists to join a school district in Anchorage, Alaska for the 2026-2027 school year.
    The School Psychologist works to support students through a variety of mental health, behavioral, and developmental needs while assisting in the evaluation and qualification process for special education and support services. The ideal candidate will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to help students achieve academic and social-emotional success.
    • Responsibilities
    • + Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students.
    + Assist in determining eligibility for special education and related services. + Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, and families. + Support students with behavioral, emotional, and developmental concerns. + Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions. + Maintain compliance with state, federal, and district regulations. + Deliver on-site psychological services within the assigned school setting.
    • Minimum Requirements
    • + Current School Psychologist license and/or certification in the state of assignment.
    + Master's Degree in Psychology or related field preferred. + Experience working with pediatric and adolescent populations preferred. + Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice. + Current CPR certification if required. + TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray if applicable. + Current health certificate as required by state regulations or contract. + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements. + Must be at least 18 years of age.
