This opportunity is ideal for clinicians who value professional autonomy while partnering with an established organization that provides patient referrals, administrative support, scheduling resources, and billing services. As an independent contractor, you maintain control over your clinical judgment, professional methods, and work schedule while providing high-quality behavioral health services to individuals and families. Responsibilities Provide individual, family, couples, and/or group therapy. Complete psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing progress evaluations. Deliver evidence-based treatment for mental health and substance use disorders. Coordinate care and make appropriate referrals when clinically indicated. Complete accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and payer requirements. Maintain all required licensure and professional standards. Qualifications Active independent clinical license (LPC, LPC-MHSP, LCSW, LICSW, LMFT, Psychologist, or other independently licensed behavioral health professional, as applicable). Eligible to practice in the state(s) where services are provided. Experience providing outpatient behavioral health services preferred. Strong clinical documentation and communication skills. Professional liability (malpractice) insurance or ability to obtain coverage prior to providing services. Ability to meet credentialing requirements with commercial and government payers. Compensation 1099 Independent Contractor Competitive compensation at 65% of collected billing rates for approved services rendered. Payment based on approved invoices for completed clinical services.
