Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role as a full-time School Psychologist supporting a high school near Apache Junction, AZ. As an integral member of the student services team, you will provide personalized support and make a meaningful impact in the lives of adolescents. Key Qualifications:
Current and valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist in Arizona Master's or higher degree in School Psychology or a related field Previous experience working with high school-aged students preferred Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and best practices in school psychology Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other support staff Commitment to ethical, culturally responsive, and student-centered practices
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations for students Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise in eligibility determinations Develop and support implementation of behavioral interventions and academic support plans Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to address student needs Offer crisis intervention and support as needed Deliver consultation and training to school staff on mental health, behavior management, and educational concerns Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with state and school guidelines This role offers a consistent 37.5-hour work week, exclusively on campus, ensuring you can fully engage with students and staff without the need for hybrid or remote arrangements. The caseload will be determined at the time of onboarding, allowing for appropriate allocation based on current student needs.
