Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Bring your expertise to a rewarding school-based environment and make an impact across PreK-12th grade students as a School Psychologist in a contract role near Clay Springs, AZ. This full-time, itinerant opportunity offers diverse daily experiences supporting multiple campuses and being a key part of students' journeys. Responsibilities include participating in eligibility and IEP meetings, conducting psychoeducational evaluations, collaborating actively with educational teams, and providing crisis intervention as needed. You will also play an essential role in promoting and supporting Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) across campuses.
Key Qualifications:
Current Arizona School Psychologist Certification required Prior experience working in school settings, ideally across multiple grade levels (PreK-12th) Knowledge of IEP processes and ability to attend/lead meetings Strong skills in conducting comprehensive evaluations Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills Proficiency in supporting MTSS and crisis intervention strategies
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver assessments and write evaluation reports Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, ensuring compliance and advocacy for student needs Work as an itinerant member, supporting various campuses as required Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to optimize student outcomes Assist with preventative and crisis response interventions Promote inclusive practices and contribute to data-driven decision-making Compensation for this dynamic role ranges from $45/hr to $56/hr.
