Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Experience a meaningful career path as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, supporting PreK to 1st grade students in a dynamic school environment. A full-time contract opportunity is available for those passionate about making a difference in early education settings. You'll work directly with a manageable caseload of 25 students, helping young learners develop crucial communication skills that set the stage for lifelong success. Enjoy a consistent schedule, collaborating with an enthusiastic team of educators and professionals. Your expertise will empower children and support their teachers and families throughout the academic year.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Experience or strong interest in working with PreK - 1st grade children Familiarity with school-based therapy practices and documentation Effective communication and organizational skills Ability to follow treatment plans as directed by a licensed SLP Passion for nurturing young learners
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy services to students, following individualized education plans developed by supervising SLP Support data collection, progress monitoring, and documentation Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to enhance student outcomes Participate in team meetings and contribute observations to guide treatment planning Utilize engaging, student-centered approaches to foster a communicative classroom environment
