Job Description

OVERVIEW
Frontera Search Partners is seeking a licensed psychologist to perform in-person behavioral health Compensation and Pension (C&P) evaluations for Veterans through VES. This is an evaluation-only role; there is no treatment, prescribing, or ongoing patient management.

Flagstaff, Arizona Schedule:
Approximately 1 day per week Employment type: Part-time / Per diem Patient volume: Approximately 3-6 Veterans per day
Compensation:
$800 per day
OFFICE, RESIDENCE, AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
You do not need to own or provide an office or clinic space. Examinations are performed onsite at the assigned VES clinic in Flagstaff, Arizona. Applicants must reside within 50 miles of Flagstaff and must be able to reliably commute to and work onsite at the assigned VES clinic.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Review service treatment records and relevant medical history. Conduct in-person behavioral health C&P evaluations. Administer and interpret psychological assessments when required. Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) and medical opinions when requested. Document objective clinical findings in the secure electronic system. Submit accurate reports within required timelines. Follow VA protocols, documentation standards, and quality requirements.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
PhD or PsyD in psychology. Active, unrestricted Arizona psychologist license. Qualified to perform behavioral health evaluations. Ability to work independently and meet documentation deadlines.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous VA or C&P examination experience. Experience with disability evaluations or independent medical examinations.
WHAT TO EXPECT WORKING WITH FRONTERA
Frontera Search Partners coordinates scheduling and supports the evaluation workflow. This flexible per diem opportunity allows you to serve Veterans without carrying a treatment caseload.
